Poople Ladder values player privacy. Your puzzle progress, streak counters, win tallies, and preference settings are saved directly in your browser’s localStorage. We have no player account system, collect no passwords, and do not store your game progress on our servers.
To keep puzzles running smoothly and understand site traffic, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for anonymized usage insights. Clarity may record page interactions and session replays, such as clicks and scrolling, to help us spot layout hiccups and improve usability. Cloudflare Web Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics measure general traffic without cookies. We use no advertising cookies and do not sell personal data. You can easily decline analytics through browser cookie and script settings or privacy extensions.
Standard hosting infrastructure processes routine HTTP delivery metadata such as IP addresses strictly to deliver web assets securely. Emails you send to us include only the message details you choose to provide. You can remove your local game records at any time by clearing this site’s browser storage.

Analytical Cookies & Session Insights
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity use analytical cookies and interaction metrics to measure site performance. Microsoft Clarity may record anonymized session replays, including clicks and scrolling, helping us identify responsive design issues and confusing navigation.
Player Privacy Controls

Local Storage & Data Retention
Your game records are kept in your local browser storage (localStorage).
To remove them, clear website data or local storage for poopleplay.com in your browser settings. Clearing only cached images and files will not remove your game records.
Stored Keys
We store streak counts, puzzle completion history, sound preferences, and visual theme settings under poople-prefixed keys in localStorage. We run no database accounts to store or sync your gameplay history.
Zero Personal Profiles
We maintain no player database, email lists, or sign-in infrastructure. Because we hold no personal accounts, there is no remote profile data to retain or sell.
