Dictionary Sources & Licensing
Our word list builds upon the open-source wordlist-english package derived from SCOWL (Spell Checking Oriented Word Lists) under the MIT license, drawing from frequency tiers up to 50.
We apply the MIT-licensed bad-words filter to keep vocabulary friendly and welcoming, while deliberately preserving POOP as our playful goal word.
Curated Start Words
Daily starting words are selected from core frequency tiers up to 35, guaranteeing that every challenge connects to POOP through a dependable 3–8 step par route.
